Sugar is good for your skin!

✖️ DID YOU KNOW ✖️
SUGAR IS GOOD FOR YOUR SKIN!

Sugar is a natural humectant, this means it draws moisture from the environment into your skin. When you apply products with sugar or sugar derivatives, they will actually help hydrate your skin and keep moisture within.

Sugar is also a natural source of glycolic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that penetrates your skin and breaks down the “glue” that bonds skin cells, encouraging cell turnover and generating fresher, younger-looking skin.
The small particles make an excellent exfoliant, and are used in a number of body scrubs to exfoliate dead surface skin cells and reveal your glowing, healthy-looking skin underneath.

Sugar scrubs have a few benefits over salt scrubs. Smaller granules are generally more gentle than salt, which can cause microscopic tears in the skin and because of the sugars natural humectant properties, these scrubs are more hydrating than salt scrubs, which can strip your skin of natural oils.
So do yourself a favour and invest in one of our Face & Body Scrubs and let your let skin glow.
